A gentle approach, explained

Building on his chiropractic degree, Dr. Paul completed a 12-month postgraduate fellowship program with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), specialized training in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. Babies, toddlers, and children require age-appropriate, specialized adjusting techniques because their bodies and developing joints differ from those of adults. Adjustments are very light, often using fingertip pressure.

Children benefit immensely from consistent chiropractic adjustment. What we want for children is normal tone and function, and in the stresses of our world the spine often suffers, either from the birth process or from the early introduction of screens and technology.

Spinal misalignments can interfere with normal central nervous system function and have been associated with childhood issues such as restless baby syndrome, colic, otitis media (ear infections), bedwetting, and learning and behavior issues including ADHD. Chiropractic is not a treatment or cure for these issues, but there is considerable evidence that once normal tone and function is restored to the spine and central nervous system, the body is able to self-regulate more effectively.
